The Idea
The app idea is for dog lovers to find all services in one place. The main service is to find nearby dog sitters, for daycare, boarding, drop in, and walks.
Additionally the app also allows vet consulting services, ambulance booking service. Finally the app also has a marketplace to buy dog items and dog food.
Finally the app also contains a community forum and collaborative map where they can vote and review which places are pet friendly.

Colour palette
We use green because this colour is often recommended for pet businesses. Green aligns with promoting healthy pet lifestyles, Green is recognized as the most simple colour for our eyes.

Functionality
For Dog Owners
Dog owners can read profiles and reviews of dog sitters in their area, add their own dog pictures and write information about their dog on their profile. Then dog owners can contact dog sitters to make an appointment to meet up before deciding to go ahead with the booking.
Dog owners who want to find a dog sitter can search for available sitters by their GPS location if they enabled it, otherwise they can type their postcode, and we will show pet sitter profiles who live nearby.
For Dog Sitters
After a dog sitter gets approved by the D.Dog team, sitters can create profiles and give their personal information, services, rates, and calendar (slot availability). Dog sitters can also read reviews of dogs and owners.
Dog sitters will get the booking request and they can view information about the owner, dog, preferred time and date, and payment information, including the service rate, nightly rate, and in payment of the app they can see commission deduction, and review by other dog sitters.
The sitter will also have the option to change the booking’s details or to cancel it. One day after the end of the booking, the sitter will receive the money in their D.Dog account then they can transfer the amount to their bank account.
Vet consulting service
Dog sitters and pet owners can access vet consulting service through the app, some vets offer 24 hours service for emergencies. Also ambulances can be booked through the app.
Marketplace
D.Dog also has a marketplace for dog products and food. It is like Amazon, it is a marketplace where businesses can sell their products to the app users.
Community and collaborative map
D. Dog has a community for dog owners and pet sitters where they can discuss any topics about dogs. There is also a collaborative map where the users can review and rate the pet friendliness of the different places such as parks and restaurants.
Support
If dog owners and pet sitters have any question or any problem D.Dog also has a support team available 24/7.
Boosting functionality
Users and companies can pay more to be featured at the top of the results, thus boosting their chances of being chosen as a dog sitter or a merchant. Furthermore, this functionality is offered free of charge when booking is cancelled, aiding sitters in finding a new booking.
